Paris St. Germain have sparked an interest in signing Fiorentina’s Cristiano Biraghi during the upcoming Summer transfer window according to a report from Le Parisien.

Given the uncertainty that surrounds the respective futures of Thomas Meunier and Layvin Kurzawa at the club, PSG officials are keen to ensure that they are prepared in the event that one or both of them leave hence why they are interested in Biraghi.

The French giants are not alone in courting the La Viola full back who has also drawn links to Inter. The 26-year-old came through the youth ranks at the Nerazzurri and has made 32 appearances across all competitions this season at club level and also earned his first Italy cap back in September.

Biraghi is not the only full back that the Parc Des Princes outfit have on their shortlist with the report going on to state that they are also keeping tabs on Valencia’s Cristiano Piccini too.
