Inter manager Luciano Spalletti will make just the one change to the starting eleven that crushed Genoa 4-0 on Wednesday night as the Nerazzurri play host to Atalanta today as per a report from Milan based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Roberto Gagliardini, who scored two goals and was man of the match in many’s eyes at the Marassi, will somewhat surprisingly be dropped to the bench for this evening’s encounter against his former employers.

Matias Vecino, who was on the bench on Wednesday, will replace him and will partner Marcelo Brozovic in the midfield two in Inter’s 4-2-3-1 system.

Mauro Icardi is in line for his second successive start as Lautaro Martinez has still yet to recover from his injury that he sustained while on international duty with Argentina.

Inter predicted line-up (4-2-3-1):  Samir Handanovic; Danilo D’Ambrosio, Miranda, Milan Skriniar, Kwadwo Asamoah; Matias Vecino, Marcelo Brozovic; Matteo Politano, Radja Nainggolan, Ivan Perisic; Mauro Icardi.
