Fulco van Kooperen, the agent of PSV Eindhoven’s Steven Bergwijn, has discussed Inter’s interest in the Dutch youngster among other things.

“Steven has always had a lot of talent. It just needed to be developed step by step. He is the same young player as he was when he was 7-years-old with enormous talent,” he told FCInterNews.it.

“He always trains hard and tries to do what the coach expects of him. He is a reliable player for any coach and this is why he has developed so well. I am not least surprised by this and he will still grow a lot.”

van Kooperen then spoke on the interest in his client’s services.

“There is no set amount for his transfer. We can only say that it would take a fair price to sign such a gifted player like him in today’s transfer market.

“The top clubs have been following him since he was young. Today he is focused on the results of his team, PSV, and the national team, the Netherlands. He does not think of the interest from other teams.

“Any club that admires Steven that can give him the right basis for his next step is a serious candidate and Inter certainly are a team who can do that.

“Inter are a top team with a rich history. They have great fans and come from a great city in a beautiful nation.

He concluded: “Where would I like him to go? I have no preference, it all depends on Steven himself.”
