Despite multiple statements from Inter’s Curva Nord during last week saying that they no longer deem Mauro Icardi an Inter player and that they would not abuse him, they did exactly that during last night’s 0-0 draw with Atalanta at San Siro.
However, as per a report from Gazzetta dello Sport, the rest of the fans in the ground, were quick to drown the Curva’s chants about the Argentine out in what was a clear show of support for the 26-year-old, who was making his first home appearance in over two months.
The Milan based newspaper have also revealed that the Inter management are just focused on the present when it comes to Icardi as there is still time to deal with his future with the club.
This season Icardi has made 29 appearances across all competitions for the Nerazzurri, in which he has scored 16 goals and provided four assists for teammates.
