Former Inter striker Samuel Eto’o has revealed that he is of the belief that his move to the Nerazzurri is one of the best in footballing history.

The Cameroonian forward joined Inter in a deal that saw Zlatan Ibrahimovic head the opposite way to Barcelona and he went on to play a crucial part in Inter’s treble win in the 2009/10 season.

“It is clear today, that move, and the opportunity that Pep gave me has gone down in history because it permitted me to be an even bigger part of football history by going to Inter,” Eto’o, who is know playing in Qatar for Qatar SC, said in an interview with beIN Sports.

“He allowed Inter to strike the best deal in football history.”

Eto’o spent two years at Inter in which he put together no less than 102 appearances across all competitions where he scored a very impressive 53 goals and tallied 25 assists.
