Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio will be in attendance at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium tonight for the Champions League clash between Spurs and Manchester City according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

Ausilio is there to watch City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan in particular and the report insists that Ausilio is there only to take a look and will not perform any negotiations.

Last Summer Inter made an enquiry about the availability of the German but were told he was not for sale. However, things have changed a little now and a move could be more feasible.

The 28-year-old’s contract is due to expire at the end of next season and a renewal does not seem so obvious which means he could be sold in the Summer so City avoid losing him for nothing.

This season Gundogan has made 41 appearances across all competitions in which he has scored five goals and tallied seven assists.
