At the end of the season, Inter could recruit someone to act as a point of contact between the club and their Chinese owners Suning.
According to Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, the man they want is none other than former Inter player and director Gabriele Oriali.
“Oriali is great friends with Mancini but he also has a good relationship with Antonio Conte, who is the favourite to replace Spalletti.”
According to the report, Oriali has been flirting with the idea of returning to the Nerazzurri in one capacity or other, but the deal has never materialized thus far but this time maybe it is third time lucky.
Should Oriali once again refuse, the Nerazzurri will still want someone to fill this role, with Galante and Cordoba being touted as other possible candidates, as well as Riccardo Ferri and Marco Materazzi. In a few weeks the recruitment process will take place.
