Fernando Schena, the agent of on-form Atalanta striker Duvan Zapata has addressed the transfer rumours linking his client to Inter among other clubs.
“At the moment there is nothing concrete on the table for Duvan. Inter? Only rumours,” Schena began an interview with FCInter1908.it.
“Interest from great teams means that he is doing very well but I repeat that for the moment there is nothing, it is just rumours. We have to wait and see what will happen.”
“He has already played for a great club in Napoli and scored goals including in the Europa League. It is always good to compete at the highest possible level.
In conclusion he was asked if he thinks his client has what it takes to play at Inter.
“Would he be ready for Inter? Of course. He has the skills to play at Inter.”
The 27-year-old has scored a very impressive 25 goals in 39 appearances for Atalanta who have provided themselves to be one of the surprise stories of the season as they currently find themselves just outside of the Champions League qualification places.
