Journalist Paolo Condo has spoken on the present and future of Lautaro Martinez at Inter following his performances in recent weeks and months.
“El Toro has taken advantage of the opportunity that Icardi has granted him,” Condo said in an interview with Sky Sport 24.
“Whoever the coach is that will sit on the Nerazzurri bench next year must think about Lautaro as the start because for me Ivan Perisic and Mauro Icardi will be sold. Therefore, Inter need to find a striker who can play alongside the former Racing player.”
The 21-year-old is in his debut campaign for the Nerazzurri in which he has made 29 appearances across all competitions in which he has netted nine goals.
He has recently been one of the main benefactors to the recent controversy between Mauro Icardi and the club and although currently injured, he is largely expected to return as the starting striker once recovered.
