Inter have made an initial approach to sign Argentine starlet Pedro De La Vega from Lanus according to a report from PassioneInter.

The 18-year-old is a similar player to Fiorentina’s Federico Chiesa and Inter have already seen a €10.6 million plus bonuses move rejected with Lanus demanding a sum of €18 million for the Argentine youth international who is primarily a left winger but someone who is also capable of playing on the opposite wing too.

De La Vega has a Spanish passport thus meaning he would not count toward Inter’s non-EU quota, should the Nerazzurri be able to strike a deal with Lanus.

The report goes on to suggest that the feeling is that the two clubs can strike a deal for around €14 million plus bonuses.

De La Vega was promoted to the Lanus first team last Summer and he has made 10 appearances across all competitions this term, although he is yet to score or assist in his 493 minutes on the park.

Inter are also understood to be keen on De La Vega’s teammate Kevin Lemonaco too.
