Inter Keen On Signing Roma’s Pellegrini

Inter are keeping a close eye on Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini with a view to making a move for him in the upcoming Summer transfer window according to a report from Tuttosport.

The Italian international has a €30 million release clause in his contract with the Giallorossi, a contract which is due to expire at the end of the 2021/22 season.

Pellegrini’s skill set matches the needs of presumed new Inter manager Antonio Conte while Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta is also a long term admirer of the 22-year-old.

Inter still need to exit the settlement agreement with UEFA but once out of it Pellegrini will be their first signing, as per the Turin based newspaper.

This season, the former Sassuolo man has made 19 appearances in Serie A in which he has scored twice and tallied four assists. He has collected a further eight appearances across other competitions in which he has one goal and three assists.
