Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta, club president Steven Zhang and his father, the owner of Inter, Jindong Zhang are all fans of Antonio Conte according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.
“While remaining very cautious about giving up Luciano Spalletti – who is proving to be able to cope with even the worst of storms – in Italy the name of Conte is often linked to Inter.
“This is something serious and even more so due to the arrival of Beppe Marotta at Inter. Jindong Zhang and his son Steven both also appreciate Conte.
“Antonio has never denied his availability in theory to take on a project that is under the imposition of financial fair play, which is still very serious and solid.”
Conte has been out of work since last Summer having left Premier League side Chelsea and he has long been rumoured to succeed Spalletti at Inter. Former Inter manager Jose Mourinho’s name has also been mentioned a lot too.
