Inter are keeping tabs on Lanus youngster Pedro De La Vega according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.

The Nerazzurri have enlisted the help of an intermediary to try and complete a deal with the Argentine club for the 18-year-old winger who has drawn comparisons to Fiorentina and Italy star Federico Chiesa.

It is understood that Inter have already seen an initial offer of around €10 million knocked back with Lanus said to be demanding €18 million for him.

As per the Rome based newspaper, it is thought that the two clubs can meet somewhere in the middle and strike a deal.

The move would be similar to the one Inter completed for Lautaro Martinez last year in the sense the deal is done before the transfer window opens. The report goes on to state that De La Vega is not as developed as Martinez was and that he could be loaned out in his first season at Inter to help his development.
