Milan Skriniar has agreed to a contract extension with Inter through to the end of the 2022/23 season with an annual salary of €3 million according to a report from Sky Sport.
The Slovakian defender will put pen to paper and officially sign in the coming weeks after the final details are ironed out.
Negotiations between the club and player have been ongoing for a number of months and the new contract will see his current salary almost doubled.
The 24-year-old joined Inter in 2017 from Sampdoria in a player plus cash deal and has since went on to make 79 competitive appearances for Inter across all competitions in which he has scored four goals and tallied a single assist.
39 of those appearances have been made over the course of the currently ongoing season where he has been able to further cement himself as one of the top central defenders not only in Italy but on the planet too.
