Inter manager Luciano Spalletti will take players at risk of suspension into account when making his team selection for Sunday’s match away to Frosinone according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

One of the main decisions Spalletti is tasked with making is whether to deploy Lautaro Martinez or Mauro Icardi at striker.

Lautaro Martinez established himself as the starter while Icardi was absent but due to injury, Icardi has been able to come back in and takeover the starting role for the past two weeks.

As per the Milan based newspaper, Lautaro should start over his Argentine compatriot but Spalletti may opt in favour of selecting Icardi due to the fact Lautaro is one booking away from an automatic suspension.

With games against Roma and Juventus on the horizon, losing Lautaro would undoubtedly be a big blow for the Nerazzurri.

Milan Skriniar, Danilo D’Ambrosio and Roberto Gagliardini may all be benched for the same reason.
