UEFA Champions League qualification is worth no less than €50 million to Inter according to a report from Corriere della Sera.

Following the win over Frosinone last night, Inter find themselves in a comfortable position heading into the final five games of the 2018/19 Serie A season.

Inter are edging closer to securing the Champions League money having reinforced their place in third with a decent gap on fifth place. Luciano Spalletti’s side’s objective has not been met yet but they are very close.

Due to their position, Inter can face their next two games with Roma and Juventus with relative tranquillity, the Milan based newspaper believe.

Should Inter manage to beat Roma next weekend, they would open up a nine point gap on them and as good as eliminate them from the chasing pack for third place.

Inter do however need to be wary of city rivals Milan, who are just five behind in fourth place and potentially Atalanta, who could be five behind if they win tonight.
