Bayern Munich have started to target Antonio Conte as a potential successor to manager Niko Kovac in the Summer according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.

Having spent this season out of work, he is now eager to make a return to the game having last managed Chelsea, who he left last Summer.

Inter and Roma are also keen on Conte who has other interest but not everyone can meet not only his salary demands but his desire to join a competitive team, similar to the one he had in London with Chelsea.

As things stand, Bayern Munich appear to be the most concrete option for Conte, who has also managed the Italian national team and Juventus among others.

Conte is currently evaluating his options and he believes that he can end up at a top club. He is also willing to wait and see what other opportunities arise.
