Icardi & Perisic Likely To Move On From Inter While Spalletti Could Also Remain In Charge

Corriere della Sera have taken a look at the two main truces struck at Inter following the events of the recent months particularly involving Mauro Icardi.

Icardi and Ivan Perisic have a truce with one another despite it being widely reported that the pair are not friends and against one another. This truce will last until the end of the season when in all likelihood both players will be sold on. It is difficult to imagine that the damage will be repaired and that will seemingly not bother Inter because as per the report, they have already decided to restructure the team in the transfer window.

Inter manager Luciano Spalletti and chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta also have a truce. Spalletti has been very vocal in sharing his opinion on the Icardi saga, something Marotta was reportedly unhappy with. For the sake of Inter, the pair have agreed to a truce.

The report from the Milan based newspaper goes on to discuss Spalletti’s future at the club. It is no secret that Inter would like to bring in Antonio Conte but they need to find an agreement with the former Chelsea boss. If they are unable to, due to lack of alternatives, Spalletti could stay.
