Inter are facing increasing competition to sign Fiorentina defender Cristiano Biraghi according to a report from La Nazione.

The Nerazzurri have long been linked with bringing the academy graduate back to the club but will not have it easy when it comes to trying to do so.

As per the Florence based newspaper, Roma have sparked an interest in the Italian international as they are wanting to find an alternative to the ageing Aleksandar Kolarov, who he would ultimately completely replace down the line.

Inter and Roma are not the only ones courting Biraghi, who is under contract at the Stadio Artemio Franchi for a further two seasons.

The report goes on to state that both Inter’s city rivals Milan and French giants Paris Saint Germain are keen on him.

This season Biraghi has made 34 appearances across all competitions for La Viola. In just over 3000 minutes, he has scored one goal and tallied six assists.
