Marcelo Brozovic and Borja Valero continued to train separately to the rest of their Inter teammates in training today according to a report from Sky Sport.

Brozovic has been out injured since Inter’s goalless home draw with Atalanta a few weeks back. He began running again in the past few days but he is expected to miss this weekend’s clash with Roma at San Siro.

Borja Valero was meanwhile forced off the field through injury in Sunday’s 3-1 win over Frosinone. Despite initial fears that the injury could have been a bad one, tests that were performed yesterday showed that there was no significant damage to his thigh.

Even though he is not back in full training at the moment, the broadcaster go on to state that the veteran Spanish midfield will be readily available to Inter manager Luciano Spalletti for selection for Saturday’s match with the Giallorossi which could be pivotal to Inter’s Champions League qualification hopes.
