Nicolas Pepe has overtaken Steven Bergwijn on Inter’s winger shortlist to become the primary target according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.

The Lille wide-man will not be easy for Inter to acquire though. The 23-year-old has a whole host of clubs on his trail including Bayern Munich and as per various reports, the Ligue 1 outfit want no less than €70 million to part ways with him this Summer.

Inter are currently at work trying to secure Pepe’s blessing and they have done so in plenty time, ahead of other clubs. If successful in getting Pepe wanting a move to Inter, it will make talks with Lille officials easier.

The Rome based newspaper go on to report that Inter could use Yann Karamoh as part of the deal to soften the blow for Le LOSC.

The 21-year-old Frenchman has had a lot of ups and downs whilst on loan at Bordeaux this term but has certainly showed what he is capable of.
