Turin based newspaper Tuttosport continue to speculate on Inter’s upcoming transfer market, paying particular attention to the midfield department.

According to paper, Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini is climbing up Inter’s priority list ahead of Cagliari’s Nicolo Barella.

“Pellegrini, unlike Barella, has a more reachable release clause, which is set at €30 million, payable in two installments of 15 million each, and is an interesting player for his ability to play in multiple roles. This is a player that Beppe Marotta wanted to bring to Juventus and in comparison to other options, it would be relatively easy to bring Lorenzo Pellegrini to Inter, but Manchester City’s Ilkay Gundogan is still the number one preference for Inter’s midfield.”

It is evident that Inter are looking to change things up in their midfield as they continue to be linked to players like Tonali, Barella, Gundogan, Pellegrini, Rakitic, and even players like Luka Modric. This is going to be a busy summer for the Nerazzurri.
