Suning seems to have two requirements for Inter’s next coach in the event that they decide to dismiss Luciano Spalletti at the end of the season: Italian and with a winning curriculum.

Two qualities that greatly narrow the range of possible candidates. This also cuts many important names from the race to the Nerazzurri bench. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, these names include Mourinho, Sarri, and Pochettino.

“The next coach will have to be strictly ‘made in Italy’, which seems to definitively put an end to the rumors suggesting a Mourinho return. Maurizio Sarri, whose name has been circulating in these weeks is another possible option, but he does not give the same certainties as he is not yet considered to be a sure winner.”

“Sarri has not won more than Spalletti though, and the same could be said about Mauricio Pochettino, who would be interested in changing scenery after 5 seasons at Tottenham.”
