Inter are close to signing Manchester City’s Brazilian Brazilian full-back Danilo Luiz da Silva, or Danilo as he is more famous as, Italian media outlet La Repubblica can reveal.

According to the report, the Nerazzurri have taken concrete steps towards signing the former Real Madrid player, who was born in 1991, and is valued by Man City at around €20-25 million. Inter will face stiff competition from La Liga outfit Valencia but are leading the race and have already presented the player with a 4 year deal which would see him earn €4 million net per season.

Danilo, who is part of the Brazilian national team, is a highly decorated player having won among other things, two Champions League titles with Real Madrid, one Copa Libertadores with Santos as well as one Premier League title with Manchester City, who he joined ahead of the 2017/2018 season.

The player plays mainly as a right sided full-back but has been utilized by City coach Pep Guardiola as a central defender as well as a left sided full-back.
