AS Roma’s Bosnian international striker Edin Dzeko continues to be linked heavily with a move to Inter when the transfer window opens in July, as a replacement for Mauro Icardi, should the Argentinian leave the club.

According to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, talks between Inter and the former Manchester City striker’s representatives, are at an advanced stage, whilst the Nerazzurri and Roma are yet to enter into formal negotiations.

However, according to the report, the negotiations between the two club’s will not be difficult as the Giallorossi will accept an offer around €10 million for Dzeko.

Furthermore, SportMediaset report that Edin Dzeko has asked his friend from their days at Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg, Ivan Perisic, for advice on whether or not to complete the transfer, as well as having asked former Roma teammate Radja Nainggolan where to get a house in Milano.

According to the report Dzeko is a player that both Antonio Conte and Luciano Spalletti hold in high esteem, but the deal hinges on Mauro Icardi leaving Inter in the summer.
