Inter coach Luciano Spalletti will most likely start the Serie A match against Roma, with Lautaro Martinez instead of Mauro Icardi, when the two sides go head to head tonight at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district, with kick-off scheduled for 20.30 CET.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia who report that the former Roma coach has only two doubts as to which eleven players to start the match with against his former paymasters. According to the report, Lautaro Martinez is the favorite to start the match instead of former Nerazzurri captain Mauro Icardi.

Spalletti’s second doubt concerns who to start in the middle of the pitch next to Matias Vecino, as he chooses between former Fiorentina midfielder Borja Valero, Portuguese international midfielder Joao Mario and Italian international midfielder Roberto Gagliardini.

Sky Sport Italia conclude that he will make his mind up a couple of hours before kick-off and believe that in the end Spalletti will go with this line-up:

Inter (4-2-3-1): Samir Handanovic, Danilo D’Ambrosio, Stefan de Vrij, Milan Skriniar, Kwadwo Asaoah; Matias Vecino, Borja Valeri; Matteo Politano, Radja Nainggolan, Ivan Perisic; Lautaro Martinez
