Inter’s Slovakian central defender Milan Skriniar, stopped by Inter TV to share his thoughts on tonight’s Serie A match against Roma at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district, which ended in a 1-1 draw, after a goal in each half from Stephan El Shaarawy and Ivan Perisic.

The former Sampdoria man was pleased with the draw but believed Inter should have won.

“It is a good point, but I think that we deserved to win. Unfortunately we were unable to score the second goal. Now we are charged up ahead of our next match against Juventus, which we want to win and we must prepare well for. We hope to be able to play them all, we have to there and win this match.”

“I miss scoring goals, I could help the team in this way. Maybe I need to be more cynical when in the penalty box. I hope that I will be able to score at least one goal between now and the end of the season.”

“We played well until we got into their penalty area, then we were unable to find a teammate in their box. They were very closed down. We played very well, and playing in this way we could have gone ahead.”
