Inter’s Ghanaian international full-back Kwadwo Asamoah, stopped by Inter TV to share his thoughts on the 1-1 draw in the Serie A at home at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, against Roma.

“We played a good match, especially in the second half. In the first half we missed a lot of passes as we were in a rush to score. They, on the other hand, played on the counter and we struggled. In the second half, however, we maintained possession and we attacked in the perfect manner. And our defenders did really well to win back the ball when they counter attacked.

Did Roma’s two central midfielders put you in difficulty?

“Yes, especially in the first half when they closed us down and there was not a lot of space to attack. In the second half, however, we attacked more through the wings, because there was no space to attack down the middle. The match went like this, because they pushed deep with their players.”

Now the next match is against Juventus?

“We always want to win every match. This match will be difficult just like the others will be. But we have to prepare well, in the right way, we want to reach our objectives.”

How is the team doing from a physical perspective?

“We are doing well, for the the moment we are all calm, diregarding Brozovic who is still out and recovering, but we are doing well. Also from a mental point of view.”
