Mauro Icardi’s future is the hottest topic right now and Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport reports in today’s newspaper on the Argentinian striker’s presumed farewell.

According to the report the two most likely clubs that he could move to are Atletico Madrid and PSG, as both the French and Spanish clubs are looking for new a striker because those currently in the squad – Cavani, Diego Costa and maybe even Griezmann – are probably not going to be there next season.

“In Milano, the Nerazzurri want to understand the intentions of these clubs as soon as possible. Marotta and Ausilio have valued Icardi at a minimum of €70 million which is non-negotiable. PSG have recently been warned by UEFA due to their Financial Fair Play breaches, and are now believed to be on the path towards becoming a sustainable club, therefore this may even be too expensive for them and alternative methods would need to be explored.”

“Perhaps there is the potential to include some interesting players in deal as a part payment. Cavani has recently been named as one player in this deal but the Uruguayan earns €10 million net per season. For Inter, this is far too much, as the club do want to give the impression to the rest of the squad that they can afford this type of contract.”

“So, the alternatives are the ones already mentioned before. Edin Dzeko has a lot of admirers at Inter, but Roma have recently asked for €20 million from Borussia Dortmund, while Inter do not intend to pay above €12 million. Then there is Lukaku, but United have not yet revealed his price. Finally, there are contacts with Atalanta President Percassi for Duvan Zapata who wants a bigger challenge.”
