Talks between Inter and Monaco over Djibril Sidibe are already underway as Inter look to strengthen at full back this Summer according to a report from French news outelt Le10Sport.

Inter’s leadership are determined to try and close a deal for the World Cup winning right back as soon as possible and the report stresses that whilst it is not clear what kind of price it will take to reach an agreement, the price will almost certainly be lower than Monaco’s demands in recent years for him.

The 26-year-old has made 21 appearances in Ligue 1 this season and has failed to score or assist in the league in what has been a highly forgettable season for the club with them at risk of being relegated to Ligue 2 despite all the money they have.

He has made a further six appearances across all competitions, four of which in the Champions League, and he has provided one assist.
