Inter Name 12 Hall Of Fame Finalists Including Facchetti, Mazzola & Meazza

Inter have announced the 12 finalists in with a shout of being inducted into the club’s hall of fame.

There have been three players selected per position and four of them will be officially inducted into the club’s hall of fame prior to Inter versus Chievo Verona on May 13th.

The four selected will join Javier Zanetti, Ronaldo, Walter Zenga and Lothar Matthaus in the club’s hall of fame, which was created last year.

In order to qualify, players had to meet a set number of criteria. Players have to have played at least 60 games, one at least one trophy at the club and have been retired from playing football for at least three years.

The list of finalists is as seen below;

Goalkeepers: Gianluca Pagliuca, Giuliano Sarti, Francesco Toldo.

Defenders: Giuseppe Bergomi, Giacinto Facchetti, Marco Materazzi.

Midfielders: Nicola Berti, Sandro Mazzola, Dejan Stankovic.

Attackers: Alessandro Altobelli, Giuseppe Meazza, Christian Vieri.
