Report Suggests Marcelo Brozovic Fully Fit But Unlikely To Start For Inter Against Juventus

This Saturday night, at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, Inter will face Juventus after a tough draw in the Serie A against Roma this past weekend.

Spalletti hopes his team will perform better against Juventus than they did against Roma considering the return of one very important player: Marcelo Brozovic.

Turin based newspaper Tuttosport reports that Brozovic is ready to play but will need to be assessed in order to determine whether he can play from the first minute.

“The Croatian midfielder was present during yesterday’s training session, which means that he is working to return ahead of the game against Juventus on Saturday. The player is fine and between today and tomorrow, he should definitely be able to return to working with the group. There is no doubt that Epic Brozo will be back for the derby d’Italia on Saturday.”

“Brozovic was injured on April 7th during the first half of the game between Inter and Atalanta where he suffered a strain in his right thigh, but just last week he was seen running again during training, but he was left out of the game against Roma in order to avoid any risks. For this reason, after weeks of being out, it will be important to see what kind of physical condition he is in in order to assess whether or not he can start against Juventus.”

“During his absence, Brozovic was replaced by Borja Valero, who has put in commendable performances. It is clear that Luciano Spalletti trusts the Spaniard.”

“It is also worth noting that yesterday Matias Vecino trained separately. He did so in order to work on energy management, as he is one of the players who has been played the most these weeks.”
