Ahead of Inter’s clash with Juventus this weekend, Inter midfielder Borja Valero has spoken on the importance of the match in an interview with broadcaster Sport Mediaset.

“Although there are only a few games left until the end of the season, we can not let up and allow ourselves to relax,” he began the interview.

“Every Sunday, it is important to pick up points that help us reach our objectives. The match with Juventus is a very important match as after all it is the Derby D’Italia.

He concluded: “They will want to win as they do in every match. We will have to be very focused early on and will have to be mentally strong throughout. We have to play our game.”

This season the veteran Spaniard has made 35 appearances across all competitions. In 1580 minutes on the park, the 34-year-old has been unable to find the back of the net but he has provided one assist.
