Inter have a concrete interest in signing Racing Club’s Renzo Saravia and could be set to make their first bid shortly according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

Nerazzurri scouts have been keeping tabs on the defender for the past six months and Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio has already met with his representatives to hold talks over a potential switch to San Siro in the upcoming Summer transfer window.

Saravia has a €15 million release clause in his current contract with the Argentine outfit but FCInterNews.it state that Inter could perhaps be able to sign him for €9/10 million instead.

Inter are yet to make any official move for him yet due to his status as a non-EU passport holder. With just two slots available each year for non-EU players, Inter are doing their due diligence to ensure they do not make a mistake by signing the 25-year-old and therefore wasting a spot that could have went on someone else.
