Inter manager Luciano Spalletti has already decided that Lautaro Martinez will be leading the attack when the Nerazzurri take on Juventus this weekend at San Siro according to a report from Sport Mediaset.

“Spalletti has had his decision made for some time, Lautaro is to be the starter and he will only use two strikers in case of an emergency,” the report from the broadcaster reads.

The report then goes on to discuss the future of Icardi at the club with him now resigned to starting from the bench while his compatriot starts ahead of him despite being far less experienced.

“The divorce with Icardi seems more and more probable and even more so because the idea of Spalletti being kept as manager is rising and the relationship with the Argentine appears irrecoverable.”

This season Icardi has made 32 appearances across all competitions and notched 16 appearances and as per various other reports, his future at the club certainly appears to be in doubt due to the events of the past few months.
