Inter and Milan Skriniar have reached an agreement over a new and improved contract and the official announcement will be made in the coming weeks according to a report from Sky Sport.
As per the Italian broadcasters report, an agreement has been reached over a base salary of €3 million plus bonuses and his contract will be prolonged by a further season thus meaning he will be contract to the club until the end of the 2022/23 season.
Skriniar has been at Inter since 2017 as he joined in a player plus cash deal from Sampdoria which saw Gianluca Caprari head to the Stadio Luigi Ferraris.
The Slovakian central defender far surpassed expectations people had of him in his debut campaign as he went on to assert himself as one of the best young defenders on the planet.
The 24-year-old has continued to progress this season and is now regarded as one of the best defenders in general which has lead to reports linking him with a move away to one of the European elite clubs.
