Inter’s management are getting increasingly convinced that sticking with Luciano Spalletti in charge is the best option according to Sky Sport journalist Andrea Paventi.
“There is a contract that protects him for two years and that is a guarantee. Everything that happened from January to today has reinforced Spalletti’s position at Inter,” Paventi remarked in the broadcaster’s studios.
“Even if there are big name coaches free at the moment, the current Nerazzurri coach would have secured himself if he takes Inter to the Champions League.
“The club leadership is more and more convinced to go on with him, the position on the Inter bench seems more solid.”
For months now there have been reports suggesting Spalletti will be removed at the end of the season and replaced by one of the high profile names out there at the moment.
Former Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has been linked whilst former Inter manager and club legend Jose Mourinho has also been linked with a possible return.
