Inter are not alone in having an interest in signing Boca Juniors starlet Agustin Almendra according to a report from Il Mattino.

Fellow Italian clubs Napoli and Juventus are keen as are Premier League giants Manchester City in the player that Inter vice president Javier Zanetti is a particularly big fan of.

The 19-year-old midfielder has a €20 million release clause in his contract with the Argentine club, where he is a youth academy graduate. His current contract at La Bombonera is due to expire at the end of the 2021/22 season.

This season the Argentine youth international has made 18 appearances across all competitions but is currently on the sidelines with a knee problem.

In 1166 minutes on the field this term, Almendra, who is primarily a central midfielder but can also play as a right midfielder and as an attacking midfielder, has scored one goal whilst also providing one assist for his teammates.
