Former Inter midfielder Evaristo Beccalossi believes Beppe Marotta already has a clear plan for the Nerazzurri’s upcoming summer transfer window.

Inter will all but secure qualification for next season’s UEFA Champions League if they beat champions Juventus in tonight’s Derby d’Italia, with a further four fixtures to play after the match at San Siro.

Beccalossi is confident the club’s new CEO knows which players he would like to bring in but played down rumours linking Inter with Antonio Conte.

“All Inter need to do at the moment is reach their objective, and then they can make decisions,” the Italian told Rai Sport.

“The entire world knows Inter are interested in Conte, but Luciano Spalletti still has two years of his contract left.

“Everyone would like to stay at the club but once they’ve secured the Champions League it will be time to plan for the future.”

Asked about Mauro Icardi’s future at Inter, Beccalossi cryptically replied: “We’ve said everything and nothing about him.”
