Samir Handanovic spoke with Inter’s in-house television channel Inter TV following Inter’s 1-1 Derby D’Italia draw with Juventus at San Siro.
The Slovenian goalkeeper seemed happy with the performance but made it clear that he felt Inter’s performance warranted more than a draw.
“In the first half we used up a lot of energy and we did not manage to score a second goal despite having had the opportunities to do so,” he began the interview.
“They scored to draw level and they had another chance to score but D’Ambrosio was good in that situation. Overall, we had a great game and we deserved more.
“In our last two games we have picked up too few points when you consider the performances that we have put in.
“If you can close out games, things become a lot different. At 1-0, the game is always in the balance. We played a good game but in the end and as always, the goals make the difference.”
