Inter Defender D’Ambrosio: “Don’t Have Time To Have Any Regrets, We’ve An Important Match Against Udinese Coming Up”

Danilo D’Ambrosio spoke with Inter’s in-house television channel Inter TV following Inter’s 1-1 draw against Juventus in the Derby D’Italia.

“We started well in the first half, but despite having created so many opportunities we only managed to score one goal,” he began.

“In the second half we suffered a drop in quality and in the end Juve managed to score an equalising goal as Cristiano Ronaldo scored a great goal from outside the box.

“In my opinion in the first 45 minutes we had to score at least one other goal but we don’t have time to have any regrets. We now have another important match against Udinese coming up, a match that can allow us to get closer to our goal.”

The Italian was then asked on how hard it can be when facing a team who can change their system multiple times during a match.

“It is difficult because they have many solutions and a coach who often changes the tactical set-up of his side in the match as it goes on. We must always be careful and try not to give spaces.”

He concluded by returning to discuss next weekend’s match with Udinese.

“They are in a lowly position so they will definitely try to get full points but our goal has to be more important than theirs.”
