Inter Winger Matteo Politano: “Beating Juventus Always Has A Special Taste”

Inter’s Italian international winger Matteo Politano, stopped by Inter TV to share his thoughts going into the Derby d’Italia against Juventus in the Serie A, at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district, with kick-off scheduled for 20.30 CET.

The former Sassuolo man underlined that Inter are much more motivated than Juventus given that the Nerazzurri still have something to play for as opposed to the Bianconeri.

“We have to absolutely be more motivated than they are. We still have an objective to bring home whilst they have already won the Scudetto. The beating Juventus always has a very special taste, especially now that they are already champions.”

“Now we have to qualify for the Champions League and then work to reach their level. In the return fixture in Turin the result didn’t tell the story, in the first half we had many chances to score. Tonight, we hope to be able to repeat this but with the difference that we also manage to score.”
