Inter’s Uruguayan international midfielder Matias Vecino, spoke with Italian broadcaster DAZN to share his thoughts on the first 45 minutes in the Serie A clash against Juventus, at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district.

The former Fiorentina midfielder was visibly happy after a half where Inter dominated proceedings entirely, and should have maybe scored more than the one goal. The only goal of the first half came when former Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan hammered home a spectacular volley.

“We have to continue playing the match with the same level of concentration and intensity in order to go home with the win.”

Matias Vecino joined Inter ahead of the 2017/2018 season from Serie A outfit Fiorentina in a deal that was reportedly worth €24 million in transfer fees alone.

Vecino has since making the transfer featured 66 times for the Nerazzurri across all competitions scoring on 8 different occasions, with goals in the derby against AC Milan being one of the more important ones.
