Victor Blanco, the president of Racing Club, has confirmed Inter’s interest in signing defender Renzo Saravia from the club in the upcoming Summer transfer window.

“They are following him,” Blanco confirmed in an interview with FCInterNews.it.

The 26-year-old right back has a €15 million release clause in his current contract with the Argentine outfit but as per FCInterNews.it, Inter could sign for a sum of between €9-10 million.

This season Saravia has made 22 appearances across all competitions for La Academia but has been unable to score or assist as of yet.

Any potential deal could be helped along by the fact that Inter legend Diego Milito is currently a director at the Buenos Aires based club.

The two clubs also did business this time last year over Lautaro Martinez. The 21-year-old forward has performed well in his debut campaign in Nerazzurr netting nine goals thus far with there still a few games left for him to hit double figures.
