There was contact between Inter and Antonio Conte as recently as yesterday with regard to him possibly becoming Nerazzurri manager according to a report from La Repubblica.

Many of the current Inter management are not convinced that carrying on with Luciano Spalletti is the best way forward for the club and several of them are keen on bringing former Italian national team manager Conte in.

Inter however are not the only team considering Conte.

The report from the Rome based newspaper goes on to detail that Paris Saint Germain are the latest side to spark an interest in Conte, who has been out of work since leaving Premier League giants Chelsea last Summer.

The French outfit’s leadership have lost confidence in current coach Thomas Tuchel, despite the fact he has led them to the Ligue 1 title this season. The recent cup final defeat to Rennes has not helped his stock at the club either.
