Inter and Milan Skriniar have come to terms over a new and improved contract according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

The Slovakian defender is set to put pen-to-paper on a new deal worth €3 million plus bonuses a season and his salary will rise to €4 million in the final year of the contract.

Skriniar has proven to be an essential player at Inter in his almost two years with the club and the official announcement on the renewal will be made by the end of the season.

The report goes on to state that Skriniar and his partner are both very happy with life in Milan, so much so that he even knocked back the advances of Real Madrid in favour of remaining with the Nerazzurri.

Real Madrid aside, Manchester United, Manchester City, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint Germain have all also shown an interest in Skriniar, who could well become Inter captain in years to come.
