Report Compares What Conte’s Inter Would Look Like Compared To Spalletti’s

Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport analyze in today’s paper edition of the newspaper, what it would be like to compare Spalletti’s Inter to what Conte’s Inter would look like and evaluate the similarities and differences between both.

Spalletti’s Inter: “The defense is essentially confirmed, with Dalbert being the only one at risk. Godin and Danilo are coming. Politano looks like he is set to be redeemed and Inter are working on negotiating for Keita as Spalletti would like to keep the player. Bergwijn would be appointed as Perisic’s heir while Lautaro looks to be the main striker.”

Conte’s Inter: “With the former Chelsea manager, Inter would likely change from a back four to a back three as Conte prefers the 3-5-2. Lukaku or Dzeko would play alongside Lautaro as Icardi will probably leave the club. Keita would not be redeemed and Perisic would be under consideration. Danilo would also be excellent for Conte as an alternative to D’Ambrosio on the right. The same goes for Godin, who would complete the defensive line. Bastoni could stay to expand the options in the back.”

The common points: “Godin, as mentioned, would be useful to both Spalletti and Conte, and the same can be said for Danilo. Brozovic and Nainggolan are confirmed, but a third option in midfield will need to be added. Spalletti would prefer someone with strong dribbling abilities (Gundogan) while Conte would choose a midfielder with power and presence (Pellegrini). Both coaches would agree that Inter would need to add one forward with experience, like Dzeko.”
