Lautaro Martinez has spoken with Inter TV to share his views on Inter’s 0-0 draw in Udine against Udinese on Saturday night.

“We didn’t play as we know how to tonight nor did we play how we prepared to. Now we have complicated matches ahead of us: our goal is to qualify for the Champions League, we must continue on our path,” the Argentine forward began his summing up of the game.

“We need to understand what we need to improve upon, keeping our objective in mind. Now we have to work. We will have a match at home against an opponent who will not want to lose in Chievo Verona so we will have to be determined to obtain the victory.”

In conclusion he was asked if he believed Inter having a lot of possession was counter-productive.

“No. In my eyes, having the ball at our feet is better. We failed to score even though in the end we put several players in their box. We need to turn our possession into goals that can in turn make us win games.”
