Brescia President Massimo Cellino was a guest on Radio Rai show Radio Anch’io Sport, where he was asked about the club’s future, after the Rondinelle secured promotion to the Serie A for the first time in 8 years.

“Coach Corini will stay with us, he has a contract and will be with us next season, unless he tells me he wants to leave. I always argued with coaches, while I have a great relationship with him”.

The former Cagliari and Leeds United President then ruled out the sale of young Italian midfielder Sandro Tonali, who has long been linked with a host of big clubs, including Inter.

“He has to grow and keep improving, so he will stay with us. He is a complete player, both in defense and in attack. He can play 95 minutes with a heart rate of 62 beats per minute, he is cold blooded like a killer but he has the smile of a child.”

“I have seen many above average players, but he is something special, almost a martian. I won’t sell him or any other player.”
