Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport analyses the league table after this past weekends round of fixtures, and believes that next seasons Champions League, will be painted in black and blue thanks to both Inter and Atalanta.

This according to the report is “thanks to Genoa, who held Roma to a 1-1 draw at the Marassi, and it gives the Nerazzurri some breathing room, despite Saturday’s disappointing 0-0 against Udinese. As Allegri said, it’s very simple, if Inter win 2 of their last 3 games they will be in the Champions League, so Spalletti will be able to say he met his objective.”

“Once again, this will be excellent news, not only for the fans but also their accountants. Last season, even without Champions League money, Inter’s turnover almost reached a record €300 million. Now with the benefits of the additional broadcast revenue and sponsorship bonuses, revenues are expected to exceed €350 million, close to Juventus, before Ronaldo  who now have a revenue of €411 million. Consecutive qualification will help Inter’s project grow at a steady rate and meet Financial Fair Play requirements.”
